About Gail Gardner
Gail started training dogs when she was 11 years old when her parents gave her a Sheltie mix. Her first job was at a pet store where she learned to groom and realized her love of working with dogs. Gail showed Italian Greyhounds in conformation but after completing a few championships she decided her true love was in training.
Gail has attended training seminars and camps for the past 30 years, where she keeps current on the latest training methods.
Gail is currently a member of the Durango Kennel Club, Durango Agility Dogs and the Papillon Club of America. She is a certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and a Certified Therapy Dogs International Evaluator.
She keeps busy with her two Papillons, Oprah and Nellie. Both have achieved Master Agility titles as well as Obedience and Rally titles and are registered therapy dogs. Gail spends many weekends at agility trials and visiting Mercy Regional Medical Center.
